Stephanie Peña to emcee Let’s Talk event

Circle of Care is excited to announce that Stephanie Peña will take the stage as our emcee for the Nov. 6 event, “Let’s Talk.”

BB King’s Jazz & Blues Club crooner, Stephanie Peña has served as Voice Announcer and National Anthem Vocalist for UnidosUS; the largest Latino, social justice organization in the nation for 20 years.

Amongst her highest honors, Peñahas performed for multiple U.S. Presidents and recently sang behind Demi Lovato for the 2021 Presidential Inauguration. Another highlight includes sharing the stage with Grammy-Award Winning; Mariachi Campanas de America who accompanied Selena, herself.

Narrator for Award-Winning Audiobook “Said the Fly“, featured on iTunes, Audible & Amazon, Stephanie is a Member of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and the Screen Actors Guild.

This Oklahoma Latina made her film debut in the award-winning, “Crazy Enough”, opposite Saturday Night Live’s, Chris Kattan. Having shot a dozen movies since, Stephanie is heavily engaged in diverse initiatives throughout Oklahoma’s thriving film education community! In addition to serving as Content Coordinator for the OKCine Latino Film Festival, Stephanie previously served on Oklahoma’s deadCENTER Film Festival Board and as Dean of deadCENTER University in addition to her role on Faculty at the Edmond Fine Arts Institute. Stephanie has served such Champions as the United Nations, Science Museum Oklahoma, the Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma, the Hilton empire, Calle Dos Cinco in Historic Capitol Hill and more.

Stephanie’s influence has been recognized by the Miss America Organization in her direct role as adjudicator, educator, clinician and coach. Peña not only provides pageant coaching, but, vocal coaching, as well!

Passionate about cultivating creativity in Oklahoma, Peña previously served as Event Chair and featured performer for IgniteOKC, therefore is no stranger to TedX style events!

Stephanie is motivated by the mission to showcase the accurate, relevant and inclusive portrayal of Latinos in the media and is committed to empowering & elevating marginalized voices as well as ensuring meaningful messages resonate through storytelling.
