In courtrooms all across Oklahoma and the United States, a special event has been occurring this month: adoption. People are gathering, bringing gifts and taking pictures. Families are standing before the judge and making a commitment to not only give a child their name, but to raise, protect, nurture and love that child. The judge grants the adoption and people cheer, hug, cry and celebrate.
