Circle of Care Partners with S&B Burger Joint for their Pay It Forward program!

3/17/2015

For Immediate Release

Oklahoma City – Oklahoma United Methodist Circle of Care, a statewide nonprofit child welfare agency, will partner with S&B Burger Joint on March 24th, 2015 for their “Pay It Forward” program.  Each Tuesday, the restaurant highlights a charity and donates 10% of their sales to that agency.  Circle of Care will be featured at the South Walker location – 7745 S Walker Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73139.

Circle of Care’s mission is to provide Christian help, healing, and hope to children and families in crisis. In the Oklahoma City area, Circle of Care is most visible through its Child SHARE program which recruits, trains, and provides ongoing support to foster homes.  Throughout the state, the agency operates multiple programs which take place both in the community and on their sites in Tahlequah, Gore, Tulsa, and Enid.

This will be the first time Circle of Care has been selected as the “Pay it Forward” charity.  Don Batson, Circle of Care’s President /CEO, shared, “So often we hear people say, ‘I’d love to help, but just don’t know what I can do.’ Well, what could be easier than to share a delicious meal with family and friends with a portion of your cost going directly to help our families provide for foster children in our own communities?  I would urge all our church supporters to plan to treat themselves this evening at S&B, to return thanks before they eat and to pray for grace for our foster children.”

Visit S&B Burger Joint on South Walker on Tuesday March 24th and know that 10% of all sales will help find safe and loving homes for children.
