Hi, I'm Grace. I'm so glad you are here!

Have you ever looked at your child with frustration or bewilderment, wondering, “What’s going on up there?” or “Why are you doing that??”. Your child draws inward and you are worried; Their behavior feels like whiplash or chaos, and you are confused and exhausted. Maybe you are here because you know your child has been through something hard and needs support. Maybe you just want to make sure they get the most out of life. I love walking with children and families to reach the healing, confidence and connection they’re looking for to enjoy deep, lifelong fulfillment.

Whether working with an adult, teen, or child, our work together often involves processing pain to experience healing in a safe and supportive space so that life and relationships feel fulfilling. Experiences do matter. You are also filled with resiliency, strength, and amazing qualities that cannot be taken.

My goal as your therapist is to not only bring understanding but resolution to what feels unsettled. I use play-therapy techniques when working with children, tailoring activities to suit their development and individual needs. I will begin to incorporate talk therapy into the pre-teen and adolescent years. I have a background in working with trauma, domestic violence, court-system involvement, and a special focus on the unique support needs of foster and adoptive families. I hold sacred the power of FUN! As an adult, I’ve re-learned to prioritize fun because joy and play powerfully diffuse stress and conflict. Believe it or not, you can tackle messy and hard things in your life while enjoying some fun (even laughter!) during our time together.

When I am not at work, I love being with my own family. My husband, our daughter, and I are the three musketeers. Together, we are usually enjoying meals with friends and family, playing outside, or otherwise creating childhood adventure with a gaggle of cousins.

I can’t wait to meet you and your kids!
