Maintenance Grounds – Tahlequah, OK

Do you have the desire to maintain a large campus property? Are you willing to maintain a high level of quality service to our buildings, grounds and property. The maintenance and ground individual provides general maintenance support all buildings, grounds, vehicles, lawn equipment, plumbing, appliances, heating and air conditioning equipment. You will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the lawn as well as improving the landscaping.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Responsible for maintaining, improving, and developing all site property
● Mowing, trimming, and beautifying the lawns
● Build, repair, and maintain flowerbeds, gardens, and other landscaping
● Repair and upkeep of mowers, trimmers, blowers, and all equipment pertaining to groundskeeping
● Maintain a service record and conduct service checks on lawn and farm equipment
● Mow and maintain fences and boundaries around the property
● Assist with horsemanship and animal therapy programs as requested
● Brush hogging of fields and hauling hay as needed
● Mowing and weed eating the entire property
● Install and remove decorations in observance of different holidays
● Work with and supervise client interns and teach skills
● Help the maintenance personnel when necessary
● Coordinate the seeding and fertilizing of the lawn and gardens as needed
● Coordinate and helps to supervise community workday projects; on and off campus
● Assist with volunteer groups as needed
● Travel locally and regionally using a company owned vehicle
● Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
● Must be at least 21 years of age
● Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
● Pass a thorough background check, Department of Transportation
check, pre-employment physical, and drug test as required by Department of Human
Services
● Possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and a good driving record

Starting salary is $12.50 per hour.
