OKC Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant provides general administrative support to the staff, and coordinates Accounting, Payroll, Human Resources, and other functions for the organization.


  • Provide direct administrative assistance to the Administrative office, including the President/CEO, Director of Administrative Services, Director of Development, Director of Human Resources and Site Staff
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls; change greeting on phones as needed
  • Welcome visitors, and coordinate with other staff to meet the visitor’s needs
  • Complete reference calls, background checks, employment verifications and filing for HR
  • Assist with volunteer paperwork and in-processing all new volunteers
  • Support the Development Team and HR with special projects, events and new initiatives
  • Assist with meetings as requested, including Board meetings
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Process contributions and miscellaneous deposits
  • Track church giving
  • Maintain sponsorship program
  • Maintain integrity of our database
  • Assist and coordinate other office related needs
  • Travel locally and regionally using a company owned vehicle
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Education: Associate degree or higher preferred
  • Pass a thorough background check (including fingerprinting), Department of Transportation check, pre­employment physical, TB and drug test as required by Department of Human Services
  • Possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and a good driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $13.00 per hour
