Dear Faithful Supporter,
If there was ever an underdog story, it was the story of Mary, Joseph, and the birth of Jesus. He was a child born in an animal filled stable to unwed parents. And yet, the Angel of the Lord says to shepherds in a nearby field, “This will be a sign to you. You will find a baby wrapped in clothes and lying in a manger.” (Luke 2:12)
A sign of what? This child is a sign of God’s plan for the salvation of the world. The Christ child impacted all of our lives and, through this Christmas Miracle, we are empowered to impact lives in Oklahoma and beyond.
Circle of Care’s ministry primarily revolves around finding, training, and supporting foster homes for some of Oklahoma’s 11,000 abused and neglected children. The amazing foster parents we support wrap babies in love and place them in safe and loving homes.
This act of discipleship fulfills the text from James 1:27 which says, “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.”
While only a few of us become foster parents, many participate in this discipleship through the ministries of their church in partnership with Circle of Care. Some will deliver welcome baskets. Others will provide dinner for a foster family. Many more will pray for those in crisis situations. And many others will make a financial investment for our children.
Your generous contributions makes it possible for these children to have a home, not just a place to stay, during a time of crisis in their lives. The services of each and every program depend on your contributions.
Please make a financial gift to Circle of Care so we can continue to serve the children and youth of our state. Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do.
For the Children,
