Development Specialist (OKC or Tulsa)

Under the direct supervision of the Vice President  of Development, and in keeping with the Mission Statement, the Circle of Care (CoC) Policies and Procedures, and administrative accountability,  the Development Specialist is responsible for coordinating a variety of events across the state, facilitating grant applications and reports, and general fundraising.

  • Maintain willingness to work flexible hours in order to meet the needs of the agency
  • Organized and detailed
  • Ability to use standard office equipment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to learn additional software
  • Proficient in using online software applications and internet tools
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects of up to 20 pounds
  • Desire to work in a social service setting
  • Commitment to the mission of the United Methodist Circle of Care

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant work experience can substitute for the degree
  • Pass a thorough background check (including fingerprinting), Department of Transportation check, pre-employment physical, TB and drug test as required by Department of Human Services
  • Possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and a good driving record
